"Electric Image, Inc. has announced that it will be bundling Apple’s iBook computer with new copies of its Universe 5.0 3D software suite sold between now and March 31st, 2003. Universe 5.0 retails for US$1,295 and will include Apple’s iBook at no extra charge."
The low down: Amazing deal here especially if you're at least mildly interested in 3D animation. The iBook configuration (G3/700mhz/20gb/128mb/CD) normally retails for about $1200. You're getting $1300 in software for $100. Or look at it backwards; if you're a Mac user to begin with and were going to buy the software anyway, now you get a nice little toy for the road.
